AI receptionist · 24/7 phone answering

An AI receptionist that answers every call and books the appointment.

Every missed call is a customer who called the next listing. Kinetiq's AI receptionist picks up in under two rings, 24 hours a day, answers the questions people actually ask, and books them straight into your calendar. It runs on your existing phone number and hands anything urgent to a real person.

What it does on a real call

Here is a typical Saturday-afternoon call at a salon that uses it:

    1. Caller: "Hi, do you take walk-ins on Saturday?"
    2. Receptionist: "We do, until 6 pm. Want me to hold a chair at 3?"
    3. Caller: "Sure, under Jonas."
    4. Receptionist: "Done. You'll get a text confirmation in a moment."

The appointment is in your booking system, the caller has a text, and nobody at the front desk touched a phone. If the caller had asked for a price, the receptionist would have quoted your price list. If they had said "I'm bleeding" at a dental office, it would have transferred the call to the on-call number immediately.

    What the AI receptionist handles

    • Answering the phone, 24/7. Nights, weekends, holidays, lunch breaks, and the third ring when your only front-desk person is already on a call.
    • Questions about your business. Hours, location, parking, services, prices, insurance you accept, what to bring. We train it on your answers, not generic ones.
    • Booking appointments. Direct into Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Cal.com, Calendly, Acuity, Vagaro, Mindbody, Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, and most vertical booking tools. It checks real availability before it offers a time.
    • Confirmations and reminders. Text confirmation on booking, reminder before the appointment, and a reschedule link if they need one.
    • Taking messages and routing. Anything it can't handle becomes a message in your inbox or a ticket in your CRM, with a transcript and a callback number.
    • Transferring to a human. Emergencies, upset customers, or anything you tell us should always reach a person get transferred live. If nobody picks up, it books a callback within the hour.
    • Outbound follow-up. Optional: it can call back missed leads, confirm tomorrow's appointments, or chase unpaid invoices on a schedule you set.

    What it will not do

It will not pretend to be a human if asked. It will not give medical, legal, or financial advice. It will not book outside the rules you set (for example, no new-patient appointments after 4 pm on Fridays). And it will not answer questions you have not trained it on: it takes a message instead of guessing.

Kinetiq AI receptionistYes, 24/7Yes, into your real calendarFlat monthly fee, no per-minute billingNeeds three weeks of setup and a real person for the edge cases it escalates.

Setup: three weeks, start to finish

    1. Week 1 — We listen. A 90-minute working session. We map every kind of call you get, what the right answer is, and which tools the receptionist needs to reach (calendar, CRM, phone system).
    2. Week 2 — We build and you test. We train the receptionist on your business, connect it to your tools, and give you a test number. You call it, try to break it, and we review together every 72 hours.
    3. Week 3 — Go live. We forward your line (all calls, after-hours only, or overflow only, your choice) and stay close for the first month, tuning answers as real calls come in.

If we cannot ship in three weeks, we refund the month.

    Who it's built for

Any business where a missed call is a missed booking: dental offices, law firms, plumbers, HVAC, and other home-service companies, medical and med-spa clinics, salons, auto shops, and real-estate teams. We are based in Southern California's Inland Empire and work with clients across the United States.

    Pricing

A one-time setup fee plus a flat monthly fee, sized to your call volume and number of lines. No per-minute billing, no overage surprises. We put an exact number on it during the first call and the rate we quote founding clients is theirs for as long as they stay. Pause for up to 90 days a year for seasonal businesses; cancel with 30 days' notice.

    Next step

Hear it answer your phone before you pay for anything.

A 15-minute call. We look at how your business runs today and tell you honestly what we'd build and what it would cost. No credit card, no deck.

    Questions we get about this

Does the AI receptionist use my existing phone number?
Yes. We forward your current number (all calls, after-hours only, or overflow only) to the receptionist. Callers dial the number they already know.
Can callers tell it's an AI?
It sounds natural and most callers don't ask. If they do, it says it is an AI assistant for your business and offers to take a message or transfer. You can test it yourself before it goes live.
What happens with an emergency call?
You tell us what counts as an emergency for your business. Those calls are transferred live to the number you choose. If nobody answers, the receptionist takes the details and books a callback within the hour, and you get an immediate text.
Does it work with my booking software?
It connects to Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Cal.com, Calendly, Acuity, Vagaro, Mindbody, Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, and most CRMs (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho). Anything else with an API or webhook, we wire during onboarding.
How much does an AI receptionist cost?
A one-time setup fee plus a flat monthly fee based on call volume and lines. No per-minute charges. For most single-location businesses it costs less than one part-time front-desk shift per week.
    Does it speak Spanish?
Yes. It can answer in English and Spanish and switch based on the caller. Other languages are available; ask on the call.
